REPROVAL TO PETER SINGER’S PHILOSOPHICAL PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE ALTRUISM 3.0 Introduction Poverty and suffering are unavoidable and overwhelming facts of the 21 st century. Many ethical theories are proposed by many philosophers to handle it. In the second chapter, I had explained Singer’s ethical theories of the philosophy of effective altruism. Peter Singer gave a two-way explanation to poverty by mentioning relative poverty and absolute poverty . [1] Absolute poverty is the absence of the minimum income to fulfill the necessities of life.
